Performed by Timo Andres and Conor Hanick, the LP is imbued with Stevens' imaginative and emotionally resonant melodies and arrangements, bringing to mind Debussy, Stravinsky, Amy Beach, Philip Glass, and more. A homage to the instrument that Stevens says was his first true love, Reflectionssolidifies the Detroit native's reputation as being not just an indie folk icon, but also one of our most original contemporary composers.
