Originally released in 1990, the track became the highest-charting single in the UK from their seminal debut album, Some Friendly. The song draws inspiration from music history, incorporating lines directly lifted from The Byrds' 1967 track "Everybody's Been Burned" and featuring a distinctive organ riff inspired by Deep Purple's rendition of "Hush."
