(pronounced “at”) is the project of Philadelphia multi-instrumentalists Victoria Rose and Stone Filipczak. On Autosmile, their first release for 4AD, the duo reshape psychedelic folk through a contemporary lens, combining intimate songwriting with a fluid mix of acoustic and electronic sounds.
The album builds on the foundations of their debut Mind Palace Music and the exploratory EP Are You There God? It’s Me, @, which ventured further into electronic territory. Across 11 songs, Autosmile moves between moments of heaviness and hope, pairing confessional lyrics with inventive arrangements.
Alongside their growing catalogue, @ have developed a strong reputation as a live act, sharing stages with Snail Mail, Cameron Winter and Black Country, New Road.
