Bob Dylan's 2009 album Together Through Life arrived as a surprise release and quickly reached No. 1 in several countries. Co-written largely with Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter, the record mixes blues, folk and Americana with Dylan's characteristically weathered songwriting. Recorded at Jackson Browne's Groove Masters studio, it features contributions from Mike Campbell of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and David Hidalgo of Los Lobos, with Dylan producing under his longtime pseudonym, Jack Frost.
