Shudder to Think emerged from Washington D.C.'s punk scene with a distinctive mix of post-hardcore intensity, unconventional melodies and experimental art rock. Released in 2025, Thirst Walk marked their first new music since the late 1990s, ending a lengthy recording absence. Issued through Dischord, it features the title track alongside ‘Playback’, reconnecting listeners with one of the more inventive bands to emerge from the American underground.
