Long-time collaborators Kit Downes and Lucy Railton work together once again on ‘Subaerial’. Edited from a three-hour jam recorded at the Skáholt Cathedral in Iceland, which boasts warm acoustics and a thunderous pipe organ (played by Downes), their respective backgrounds in jazz and classical music intertwine spectacularly on these meditative, resonant pieces.
