Hole's 1991 debut Pretty On The Inside announced the band with a fierce mix of noise rock, punk, and alternative. Produced by Kim Gordon and Don Fleming, the album introduced the original lineup of Courtney Love, Eric Erlandson, Jill Emery, and Caroline Rue, establishing the uncompromising sound that would define one of modern rock's most influential bands. Raw, confrontational, and still electrifying, Pretty On The Inside remains an essential document of the early '90s underground.
