Natural Magic II drifts like a west coast night drive at the tail end of summer. Drawing on the landscapes and folklore of the Pacific Northwest, the seven-track album emerged from late-night, dimly lit live sessions, with keys and drums locked in alongside bass before later layers of guitar, synths and percussion were added.
The music carries a loose, unforced momentum, shaped by the space it was made in — the same room that hosts their all-night, free-form parties, where experimentation and community are central. That spirit runs through the record, balancing spontaneity with a gentle sense of structure.
The artwork mirrors this handmade approach, created using flower pigments, opium poppy pollen ink and wood-scrap charcoal by collaborator Pith Cocomici. It’s a record built for open windows and long stretches of road, where myth, memory and motion blur into one.
