Aldous Harding presents Train On The Island, her fifth studio album, co-produced with long-time collaborator John Parish at Rockfield Studios in Monmouth, Wales. The pair continue a creative partnership that has shaped much of Harding’s catalogue, crafting ten new songs in the same storied setting.
Joining Harding and Parish are Joe Harvey-Whyte on pedal steel, Mali Llywelyn on harp, Thomas Poli on synths, Sebastian Rochford of Polar Bear on drums, and Huw Evans (H. Hawkline) handling bass, vocals, guitar and organ. Together they frame Harding’s singular songwriting with subtle, finely balanced arrangements that draw on texture and space without losing focus.
Train On The Island finds Harding deepening a collaboration that remains central to her sound.
