David Byrne and composer Oli Julian provide the soundtrack to the animated adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The Twits, released by Mutant in partnership with Netflix.
Byrne contributes a set of characteristically eccentric yet catchy songs, performed alongside Hayley Williams, Natalie Portman, Margo Martindale and Euan Morton. Julian’s score complements them with bright melodies and playful arrangements, matching the film’s mischievous tone.
The album also includes two exclusive demo recordings by Byrne, with artwork by Sonny and Biddy inspired by Dahl’s anarchic world.
