The Blood Brothers - Crimes (Bone LP)
Tax included.
The Blood Brothers emerged from Seattle's suburbs in 1997, developing a ferocious sound that mixed chaotic hardcore, punk and experimental indie rock. With Johnny Whitney and Jordan Blilie trading shrieks and yelps over Cody Votolato's abrasive guitar work, the band became one of the most distinctive acts of the 2000s post-hardcore scene. Released in 2004, Crimes captures their manic energy, combining disjointed rhythms, screeching vocals and unexpected melodic hooks. It's a wonderfully unhinged record that helped bring their confrontational sound to a wider audience.
