The Blood Brothers - Young Machetes (Deluxe)
Tax included.
The Blood Brothers mark 20 years of Young Machetes, their fifth and final album. Originally released in 2006, it captures the Seattle post-hardcore band at their most frantic and unpredictable, mixing abrasive guitars, frantic rhythms and surreal, politically charged lyrics with flashes of twisted pop. ‘Rat Rider’ and ‘Laser Life’ bring hooks and keyboards into the chaos, while ‘Camouflage, Camouflage’ pushes further into glam-flecked noise. A suitably unruly farewell from a band who spent their career pulling punk apart and rebuilding it in increasingly strange forms.
