Keeping the original’s languid drums and airy harmonies, the duo push the song into grander territory with hypnotic vocals, booming percussion and surging synths. Folsom has long admired Beach House, while the band discovered Music and Dreams around the same period, making their version a neat meeting of mutual appreciation. Folsom’s remastered original appears alongside their interpretation.
