Bon Iver present VOLUMES: ONE, the first non-studio release from the project and the opening chapter in a new archival series. Spanning 2019 to 2023, these 10 live recordings capture Justin Vernon and his band at their most expansive — warm, exuberant and powered by the kind of force only the stage can deliver.

Drawn from years of touring and carefully selected by Vernon, the performances feature key collaborators including Jenn Wasner, Sean Carey, Michael Lewis, Matthew McCaughan and Andrew Fitzpatrick, with live engineering by Xandy Whitesel helping shape their scale and depth. “This is what we became,” says Vernon. “This is really us at our best.”

More than a document of concerts, VOLUMES: ONE reframes familiar material in ways that feel vital and immediate. Modelled in spirit on long-running archival series by Bob Dylan and Neil Young, the ‘VOLUMES’ series will explore the many eras of Bon Iver through live recordings, demos and unreleased work.
