Despite being 25 years old, a milestone that Daft Punk are celebrating with this spanking anniversary edition featuring 15 remixes of the album’s tracks, by luminaries including DJ Sneak, Ian Pooley, and Roger and Junior Sanchez, the electro-house classic Homework still sounds as fresh as a French peony. Only slightly less remarkable is Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter’s two-decades-long self-imposed cranial obscuration – although I guess once publicly helmeted, it’s hard to walk back the decision without looking a bit, um, daft.
