Random Access Memories was the Daft Punk album that we were led to believe by an excitable media was pretty much the future of music rolled up in an unrelenting summer hit machine. Fortunately, we own our own ears, so, like many others, we could independently decide that it was... just a bit average really despite a star-strewn guest list and addictive lead single 'Get Lucky'. Still, if we're trying to get all nostalgic about 2013 (or 1977), it is the first place to turn to.
