Daniel Villarreal, Jeff Parker & Anna Butterss - Lados B (2026 Edition)

Daniel Villarreal's Lados B collects previously unreleased recordings from two backyard sessions in Los Angeles during October 2020, when Villarreal, Jeff Parker and Anna Butterss reunited for their first in-person ensemble recording since lockdown began. While a handful of performances appeared on Panamá 77, the rest has remained unheard until now. Led by Villarreal's fluid rhythms, the trio weave together Latin funk, free improvisation and jazz, creating spontaneous pieces that highlight their instinctive chemistry and collective approach to composition.
