A note from Chrysalis Records:
‘Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the passing of David Jude Jolicoeur. Known to fans as Trugoy the Dove, he helped define hip-hop for generations as one pillar of the seminal hip-hop trio De La Soul. From our Reservoir family to his De La brothers, his friends and family, and his fans–we send our deepest sympathies. RIP Dave.’ 🕊️
