Although the eye-catching track is obviously ‘Groove Is In The Heart’, the colossal dancefloor monster that became one of the defining singles of the Nineties, Deee-Lite’s 1990 debut album ‘World Clique’ was not to be overlooked. Containing other ace singles in ‘Power Of Love’ and ‘E.S.P.’, it showcased Towa Tei and DJ Dmitry’s quality house production and Lady Miss Kier’s soulful vocals. Also featured guest spots from Maceo Parker, Q-Tip and Bootsy Collins.
