Kinshasa-based DJ Finale, a member of the city’s collective Fulu Miziki, excavates the rich musical history of D.R. Congo for a brain-addling hybridisation of traditional and contemporary dance sounds on solo album ‘Mille Morceau’. By turns abrasive and industrial then soft, flexible and hypnotic, it’s an incredible sonic patchwork.
