Dog Unit follow 2024 debut At Home with Runners, a 42-minute instrumental album built to flow as a single piece. Recorded at the London quartet’s Limehouse studio with longtime producer Mark Estall, it broadens their cinematic rock through a specially commissioned string quartet, experimental bass clarinetist Heather Roche, vintage synths, drum machines, piano and harmonium. Sam Walton, Henry Scowcroft, James Weaver and Lucy Jamieson use this expanded palette to create a more ambitious, widescreen take on their restless, narrative-driven sound.
