Brooklyn five-piece indie rock prodigies Geese returned in a new incarnation for their second album, 3D Country. Buoyed by the success of their much-hyped, much-lauded debut Projector, a sophomore album in the same vein would seem an open goal. Thankfully, Geese bucked expectations, tweaked the formula and returned with a more mature, streamlined and expansive sound.
