Hannah Peel & Beibei Wang - The Endless Dance

Hannah Peel & Beibei Wang present The Endless Dance, their first collaborative album, drawing on the 24 solar terms of the Chinese calendar as a framework for a vivid exchange between electronics and percussion.

Recorded over five days at Real World, the album brings together synths and prepared piano with traditional and unconventional percussion, shaped by the rhythms of the natural world. Both artists met while working on Manchester Collective’s NEON, and here move beyond their shared classical grounding into freer territory, guided by curiosity and trust in instinct.

Produced by Mike Lindsay (LUMP, Tunng, Guy Garvey, Jon Hopkins) and featuring Hyelim Kim on daegeum, The Endless Dance balances detail with spontaneity. Rooted in storytelling traditions from both artists’ cultures, it unfolds as a conversation without borders: two distinct voices finding common ground through sound.
