I'll Be Waving As You Drive Away is the third of a trilogy of albums by Oklahoma City-based guitarist Hayden Pedigo. Written at a ranch at an artist residency in Wyoming, it sees him continue to innovate, warping American folk and country music that it sounds, in his words, like 'if somebody had cut up a tab of LSD and put on a John Fahey record'.
