Opening track ‘Booster’ sets the direction with layered percussion and building momentum, establishing a focus on groove as the foundation. Rather than starting with melody, Hiro Ama constructs each piece from beats and rhythmic interplay, allowing bass and texture to shape the flow before harmonic elements emerge.
‘Lava’ pushes this approach further, pairing pulsing low-end with piercing synth lines to create tension and release. Across the EP, shifting patterns and tightly controlled arrangements keep the energy in constant motion, trading introspection for propulsion without losing compositional focus.
