Celebrity Skin was the third album from Courtney Love and Hole. Their previous album Live Through This had left behind the racket of debut Pretty on the Inside, forging a more radio-friendly sound. Four years later, Celebrity Skin edged further into the mainstream with a streamlined set of tuneful Californian guitar rock highlighted by the lovely Lemonheads-ish twang of 'Malibu' and the chart-topping title track.
