Best known for his work with Portico Quartet and Szun Waves, Jack Wyllie makes his first solo statement with Eternal Spring. Inspired by nature, renewal and the persistence of hope, the album blends ambient, jazz, modern classical and post-rock influences into a collection of graceful, melodic compositions.
Featuring contributions from Hania Rani, Dobrawa Czocher, Lotte Betts-Dean, and former Portico Quartet bandmates Duncan Bellamy and Milo Fitzpatrick, the record finds Wyllie's flute and saxophone at its centre. Developed across sessions in London and at Studio Richter Mahr, Eternal Spring draws on a broad musical palette while maintaining a warm, uplifting character. A deeply personal project, it captures Wyllie finding a space that unites the many strands of his musical life.
