For Love … Weaver paired up once again with John Parish (PJ Harvey, Aldous Harding), her first ever producer, and there is very evidently a marriage of true minds at work here – for, in addition to the LP sounding phenomenally good, the sheer volume of ideas on display is dizzying in the best possible way. Another phenomenal record from one of our most imaginative singer-songwriters, Love … might just be the record that gives Weaver the recognition she so richly deserves.
