KRS-One’s solo debut full-length album Return Of The Boom Bap remains a stone-cold classic of East Coast hip hop. Contuining the political and socially conscsious themes we heard in his groundbreaking rap troupe Boogie Down Productions, KRS pitted hard-hitting production with confrontaional bars. Includes the defining track Sound Of the Police. Production comes from DJ Premier, Kid Capri, and Showbiz. Some of the best early 90s guys in action.
