Lorelle Meets The Obsolete extend the world of Corporal with the four-track EP Corporeal, featuring two new songs alongside remixes of album cuts by Jagz Kooner and Swedish producer Mythologen.
Kooner’s rework of ‘Regresar / Recordar’ appears on vinyl for the first time, while Mythologen delivers a hazy reinterpretation of ‘Control’. Both versions have already found their way into the duo’s DJ sets.
The new tracks push further into the album’s themes. ‘Progreso’ builds from duelling synths to a drum-led surge, while ‘Producción = Destrucción’ unleashes a blast of abrasive guitar noise.
Lyrically, the songs reflect on capitalism’s consequences—progress as erasure and production as destruction. The EP title mirrors Corporal while also nodding to Mani of The Stone Roses and Primal Scream, whose early encouragement inspired the name.
