Melvins' 2006 album (A) Senile Animal is among their most celebrated releases of the decade. The sludge metal veterans expanded their line-up by recruiting Big Business members Jared Warren on bass and Coady Willis on drums, the latter joining Dale Crover for a formidable two-drummer attack. The result is a barrage of enormous riffs, distorted basslines and pounding, interlocking rhythms. Check out 'A History of Bad Men' for a taste of what makes this one such a favourite.
