A self-taught drummer, producer, and vocalist, Gill has contributed to projects by Alabaster DePlume, Coby Sey, Tirzah, and Nadeem Din-Gabisi (as part of An Alien Called Harmony). Years of collaboration and touring have shaped her instinctive, genre-fluid approach, drawing from jazz improvisation, electronic production, and experimental pop.
Across eleven tracks, Momoko captures a wide emotional and stylistic range — from the jazz-infused pulse of ‘No Others’ and the layered harmonies of ‘Heavy’, to the stark intensity of ‘Shadowboxing’ and the choral sweep of ‘When Palestine Is Free’, featuring Shabaka Hutchings, Soweto Kinch, Alabaster DePlume, and others.
