Mort Garson - Mother Earth's Plantasia (50th Anniversary Edition)
Tax included.
Long before ambient music had a name, Mort Garson was exploring the gentler possibilities of the Moog synthesiser. After writing pop hits, arranging for Doris Day and Glen Campbell, and composing music for the 1969 moon landing, he created Mother Earth's Plantasia. Inspired by the 1970s fascination with The Secret Life of Plants, the album was originally given away with purchases from a Los Angeles plant shop. Its warm, playful electronic pieces later found a devoted audience, and 50 years on, Plantasia remains a charming, pioneering electronic classic.
