These 4 songs represent the first chapter of Mould. Most of them stem from jams they had during soundchecks on tour as Fenne Lily's backing band for her Breach album tour. Once they got back from tour they decided to replace Joe's solo project Slonk (which they all played in) with a fresh new collaborative beast, they called that beast Mould.
Channeling the likes of a Fugazi, Pile and Weezer, they seem, with the help of producer Jon Mcmullen (Wet Leg, Michael Kiwanuka), to have created an exhilarating, unhinged musical joyride.
