Mixing live and studio recordings, Simone tackles Tina Turner’s ‘Funkier Than A Mosquito’s Tweeter’, ‘Mr Bojangles’, Steppenwolf’s ‘The Pusher’ and blues standard ‘I Want a Little Sugar in My Bowl’, putting her unmistakable voice and commanding presence at the centre.
