Pigeon are a psychedelic five-piece from Margate whose music reaches far beyond its coastal roots. Guided by cosmic exploration, spiritual transformation and raw spontaneity, the band bring together Falle Nioke (vocals, percussion), Graham Godfrey (drums), Josh Ludow (bass), Steve Pringle (keys, synths) and Tom Dream (guitar), with collective credits spanning Little Simz, Michael Kiwanuka, SAULT and Saul Williams.
Their debut album OUTTANATIONAL is a bold, free-flowing set of party music without limits — playful, propulsive and deeply rooted in groove. Drawing loose comparisons to William Onyeabor refracted through outer space, or early Hot Chip colliding with motorik Afrobeat in a 70s New York loft, the record moves with infectious energy and restless curiosity.
Following a run of acclaimed EPs, BBC 6Music support and standout UK festival appearances, Pigeon push beyond Afro-disco into darker, moodier terrain. Laced with krautrock, post-punk and punk-funk, OUTTANATIONAL is expansive yet focused, powered by rhythm and driven by an ongoing search for connection, movement and home.
