Sylvie is the project of songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Benjamin Schwab, known for Golden Daze and his work with Drugdealer. New Season, his first full-length for Ghostly International, expands Sylvie’s sunny 1960s and ’70s-inspired pop, rock and country with a larger rotating ensemble. Written and self-produced by Schwab, it draws on the easygoing spirit of Laurel Canyon and bohemian Nashville while exploring hardship, hope and finding joy on the other side. His wider circle includes Marina Allen, Sam Burton, Jess Williamson and Weyes Blood’s Natalie Mering.
