Teenage Fanclub's 13th album, Do Not Dare To Dream, finds hope in uncertain times through warm melodies and understated songwriting. Recorded at Black Bay Studio on the Hebridean island of Great Bernera, the sessions were coloured by vintage keyboards, a church organ and the surrounding landscape. Norman Blake and Raymond McGinley share songwriting duties, while Euros Childs, David McGowan and Francis Macdonald complete a band whose easy chemistry gives these melodic, quietly uplifting songs their lasting appeal.
