Cotton Crown is the second studio album from The Tubs, the band formed by former Joanna Gruesome guitarist Owen ‘O’ Williams. His world-weary lyrical cynicism is offset by some joyous, retro jangle pop that speaks to an encyclopaedic knowledge of prime college rock, just like its 2023 predecessor Dead Meat.
