Created by members of the wider Optimo community following JD Twitch’s terminal brain cancer diagnosis in 2025, The Watergirls rework The Waterboys’ ‘The Whole of the Moon’ as an open-hearted dancefloor tribute. Made with the spirit of Planet Peach, Mas and Sunday nights at the Sub Club in mind, it began as a private expression of love for a hugely influential friend before finding its way into the world. Sean Johnston of Hardway Bros and A Love From Outer Space provide additional mixes, with all profits going to charity.
