This Is Lorelei's The Singer in My Band is the first album Nate Amos has released through Matador, drawing on years of touring with both This Is Lorelei and Water From Your Eyes. Written largely on the road, the record turns travel experiences, imagined characters and blurred memories into songs that feel intimate and unpredictable.

Recorded and produced by Amos, with contributions from his father Bob Amos, sister Sarah Amos and partner Al Nardo, the album focuses on strong melodies, memorable hooks and vivid storytelling, informed by the principles of bluegrass rather than its sound.
