Dream Me A Dream is the final studio album from Tucker Zimmerman, completed in 2025 and recorded largely in his garden studio in rural Liège. Featuring contributions from his wife Marie-Claire, Jackie Oates and producer Nick Holton, the record blends banjo, violin and organ with Moog, analogue synth and processed piano.
Some songs date back to the 1960s, while others were written during sessions in 2024–25. The music moves between intimate folk and spacious electronic arrangements: ‘Sun In Scorpio’ opens with delicate synth textures, while the title track pairs plucked banjo and violin with words drawn from Zimmerman’s poetry collection When In Flows The Sea. Elsewhere, ‘Rooftops’ revisits a poem written when he was nineteen, set against hypnotic rhythms.
Even in his eighties, Zimmerman’s voice carries warmth and presence throughout this quietly exploratory collection.
