various artists - Exit Music: Songs With Radio Heads

Twenty years on, Exit Music: Songs With Radio Heads brings together inventive Radiohead covers from Mark Ronson, Bilal, Sia, Meshell Ndegeocello, Questlove, Sa-Ra, The Cinematic Orchestra, Osunlade and Matthew Herbert. Rather than simply recreating the originals, the contributors pull them towards soul, funk, hip-hop and electronic music, revealing the rhythmic possibilities lurking within the songs. Mark Ronson’s take on ‘Just’ became BBE Music’s first UK Top 40 single, while the collection has since earned cult status as an imaginative tribute to Radiohead’s songwriting.
