Curated from the band’s Bandcamp subscription series, the album gathers tracks that were previously available only to subscribers, now issued together for wider listening.
Jamie Stewart and Angela Seo approach each song with the band’s stark, idiosyncratic style, reshaping works such as ‘Psycho Killer’ by Talking Heads, ‘In Dreams’ by Roy Orbison, ‘Some Things Last A Long Time’ by Daniel Johnston, and ‘I Put a Spell on You’ by Screamin’ Jay Hawkins. Rather than straightforward tributes, these recordings function as both a personal acknowledgement of formative influences and an exploration of each song’s emotional and musical core.
